Jami is a graduate of Palomar College and the Design Institute of San Diego. She has taken numerous classes in art and design at UCLA, UCSD, Mesa College, and the Athenaeum School of the Arts, and has been certified in Compass School Feng Shui.

She has worked as an interior designer, event planner, and window display artist, and is an accomplished watercolorist
